I remember that first time that you celebrated your birthday with us, just barely a month after debut. you were so surprised at all the birthday wishes you received, refreshing your twitter over and over again.
it’s crazy to think that now, two years have passed since that day. two years during which you did your absolute best, as a leader, a hyung, and as a performer. all the times you smiled are precious in our hearts, and all the times you cried we wanted nothing more than to hug you and whisper into your ear that everything would be okay. you’re so strong, hakyeon, much stronger than I could ever be. you’re strong and amazing, humble and sweet, playful and captivating. vixx wouldn’t be the same without you, we starlights wouldn’t be the same without you.
so I say here, thank you for holding onto your dream. thank you for enduring the hard times, the tears, the frustration. thank you, for being with us, and always thinking of us. thank you for making our lives a little bit happier day by day. thank you.
